2. Legal basis

We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) of 25 September 2020 and its Ordinance (DPO), in force since 1 September 2023. Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) also applies to a processing activity, we comply with its provisions as well.

3. Data we process
  • Browsing data: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, HTTP status code, volume of data transferred, referring website, browser, language settings and operating system.
  • Data you send us: when you write to us by email, we process your name, email address, the content of your message and any attachments, such as a CV.
  • Contact form data: your name, company and email address and, if you provide them, phone number, role, website, country, how you heard about us, services of interest, starting point, indicative budget, timing, your message and preferred contact channel. Along with your request we record the date and time of submission, IP address, browser and referring page, in order to handle it and protect the website from spam. Fields marked with an asterisk are needed for us to reply; all others are optional.
4. Purposes

We process this data to run and secure the website, answer your enquiries, assess job applications and meet our legal obligations. We use the data sent through the contact form to assess your request, get back to you through your preferred channel, prepare a proposal and understand, in aggregate form, how our clients find us. We do not sell or pass on personal data to third parties for commercial purposes. We do not carry out profiling or automated individual decision-making. Where the GDPR applies, the legal bases are pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b)), our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and protecting the website (Art. 6(1)(f)) and our legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)).

5. Cookies

We only use technical cookies that are necessary for the website to work. We do not use persistent, tracking or profiling cookies. Features that connect the website to social networks may activate third-party cookies; please see those networks’ privacy policies for details. In line with Art. 45c of the Telecommunications Act (TCA), you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

6. Retention
Data Retention

Email enquiries As long as needed to handle them, plus statutory retention periods
Contact form requests Up to 24 months from the last contact if no collaboration follows; if we work together, for the duration of the relationship plus statutory retention periods

7. Recipients and disclosure abroad

Your data may be received by service providers working on our behalf, such as hosting, email and IT providers, who are contractually bound to confidentiality, and by authorities where the law requires it. Some providers may process data abroad. In that case we only disclose data to countries whose adequate level of protection is recognised by the Federal Council (Annex 1 DPO) or with appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses (Art. 16 FADP).

Requests sent through the contact form are stored on the server that hosts the website and forwarded to our mailbox, which is managed by Google (Google Workspace). The website also uses Jetpack, a service of Automattic Inc. Google and Automattic may process data in the United States; both participate in the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, which the Federal Council has recognised as providing adequate protection since 15 September 2024 (Annex 1 DPO).

8. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, alteration, loss or disclosure. Connections to the website are encrypted with SSL/TLS.

9. Your rights

You may at any time ask which of your data we process (Art. 25 FADP), request its correction, deletion or restriction, object to its processing, receive it in a common electronic format (Art. 28 FADP) and withdraw any consent you have given. Please send your request in writing, with proof of identity, to privacy@dilemmi.com. We reply within 30 days, as a rule free of charge. If you believe we are breaching the law, you can contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), Feldeggweg 1, 3003 Bern, www.edoeb.admin.ch. If you live in the European Union, you can also contact the data protection authority in your country.

10. Changes
